Hi there! My name is Alona, I live in Israel and I am a foodie and cooking enthusiast. First time I encountered Indian food was while living in London and since then I’m learning and experimenting with cooking various Indian dishes via the Internet. Apart from kitchen experiments I also work in a startup company, have a loving partner which is the number one taster of all the dishes, and I’m also a mother to a great baby.

I also like to explore old recipes I get from various grandmas (usually not Indian) and to recreate their signature dishes or just weird stuff from old times.

In this blog you’ll find recipes for Indian food, not restricted to specific region or culture in India, great and interesting grandma’s recipes and few other tasty things I just couldn’t leave out and doesn’t fall under one of those categories.
